Work Experience Placements and Insurance - For Everyone
If you are not sure how to go about getting a work experience placement, EDN can assist you with provision of information on searching for a suitable work experience placement.
We also provide Work Experience Insurance Coverage (Personal Accident and Illness Policy Insurance) for up to 15 working days, free of charge to you and your host employer. To be eligible for work experience insurance cover you;
- Must be doing the work experience for free
- Must be registered to receive services at your local EDN office
- Must complete the insurance paperwork and have it signed by you, your employer and an EDN officer, before your work experience starts
- Must be over 13 years of age and under 70 years of age
While on work experience, you will be covered by the conditions laid down in the Accident & Health International Underwriting P/L Personal Accident and Illness Policy No. 0018725
