Profit from Experience (PFE) - for people aged 40 years and over (* 35 yrs+ for indigenous people).
Adults face a number of challenges throughout their working life, such as returning to work after child rearing or an injury, as well as retrenchment and even planned events such as career change.
The WDC provide specialised services to assist people aged 40 years and over through our PFE Program.
PFE is a program to improve your;
- Career development and training opportunities.
- Identification of your transferrable skills.
- Skills recognition of your current competencies.
- Motivation and confidence to explore employment options.
- Helping you realise the value of your maturity and experience as an asset both to work and within the community.
As part of this, we will help you learn how to manage your own career to achieve your goals by providing;
- Career guidance
- Education in new career development skills through action planning.
- Funded Training - access up to $350 training grant is available (subject to eligibility criteria) to assist PFE clients meet their career action plan goals.
