Services to Students, Teachers and Schools
Making decisions about career directions and transitioning from school to work is a major challenge faced by many young people.
Workforce Development Centre offers career guidance services as well as working with schools to facilitate youth career decisions and skills development.
This service is open to all students (13 to 18 years of age), school leavers, parents, guardians and teachers. We aim to assist students in the transition form school to further education, training or employment by;
- Developing students' career planning, employability and job search skills.
- Providing up to date information about careers, education and training opportunities, apprenticeships, traineeships, employment and the labour market.
- Provide students with information and links to other people who can help.
