Career Guidance Services
During a career guidance interview, clients work one on one with a Career Practitioner, who guides them to map a meaningful and realistic career pathway taking into account relevant personal factors (including skills, experience, interests, personality, values, aspirations and personal circumstances) together with relevant social, economic and labour market influences being considered. Possible barriers to decision making and goal achievement are also identified and explored. Clients learn the skills needed to make well considered career decisions, to set goals and to plan action steps to achieve their goals.
WDC has a range of computerised and paper-based career guidance tools available, which our qualified Career Practitioner will use to help you explore suitable career pathways to assist you with your career development decision making.
These tools are designed for use either one on one with a Career Practitioner or in group workshops.
An overview of these tools is available below, or to view detailed information on these tools, download the Career Assesment Tools PDF.
