Career and Employability Services through the Employment Directions Network (EDN)
The Western Australian Government has identified career development as an important means by which Western Australians can develop the knowledge and skills which will equip them to manage their lives, learning and work in an ever changing labour market.
The Employment Directions Network (EDN) was established as a government-community partnership to ensure that the community provided leadership in ensuring resources were directed to priority areas and groups. The service is funded by the WA Department of Education and Training and supported by Lotterywest.
Through the EDN, services are provided free to all West Australians in areas such as career planning, employability skills development and provision of information and advice on training, career and labour market information and pathways.
